About Us

Waldron Landscape Architects is an award winning design firm based in Greenville, South Carolina. We combine the art and science of analysis, planning, and design to deliver sustainable, cost efficient site solutions to meet client needs, project goals, and budgets, while adding aesthetic, functional value to the community. We work closely with our clients in the preliminary stages of the design process to capture their vision so we can work expeditiously through the project development process.

With an extensive portfolio of Commercial, Residential, and Public projects, WLA has the expertise to deliver quality, timely service on any project size or scope.

Waldron Landscape Architects was founded by Owner/Principal Joe Waldron. Joe is a Registered Landscape Architect (SC lic. #1106), a CEPSCI Certified Erosion Control Inspector (SC lic. #1050), and an OSHA Certified Competent Person for Jobsite Safety.

Joe is a native of Savannah, Georgia and holds a bachelor's degree in Design, Landscape Architecture from Clemson University, where he graduated with honors. While at Clemson, Joe was accepted into the Sigma Lambda Alpha National Honor Society, the Calhoun Honors College, the Golden Key Honor Society and received the Thomas B. Kendrick Memorial Scholarship. Joe is an avid golfer and a resident of Greenville, South Carolina. He shares his life with his fiancée and 3 dogs, Charlie, Henry, and Cyrus.
